Make PrEP routinely available to prevent the spread of HIV

Caroline Pidgeon's motion to the London Assembly, calling for the HIV-prevention drug PrEP to be more readily available to those in London and across England as part of routine sexual health services, was unanimously passed on 31 October.

The motion calls on the Chair of the Assembly and the Mayor of London to jointly write to the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care requesting that routine commissioning of PrEP is introduced in London and across England from April 2020.
